The Aosta Valley is a naturally rich region that offers an extraordinary variety of ecosystems. In this region, nature expresses itself in all its magnificence, with national parks, nature reserves, and protected areas that are home to a rich and diverse fauna and flora.
  • Mont Avic Nature Park (near Forte di Bard)

The Mont Avic Park is a protected natural area established in 1989 to preserve nature in the areas of Champdepraz, Champorcher, and more recently, a part of the Val Clavalité. The protected area features characteristic flora and fauna in a setting of picturesque landscapes. During the summer, the park organizes educational workshops and excursions for children and young people; this territory is an open-air laboratory, an excellent tool for learning about science and nature. Various hikes are available, catering to different abilities and needs.
